Sunday Long Run

This week, we brave the Beltline Trail. Hopefully, the dryness tomorrow will help evaporate all of the rain that fell on Friday. If for some reason, the gravel section of the Beltline is not up to snuff, use the Elm Ridge Dr. and Chaplin Crescent, just to the north of the trail.

Plus, people are meeting for brunch after (at the Huntsman) at noon! Wish I could be there. I’ll be at a coaching course.

Here is the full route of 31.5 km

North on Dovercourt
Right on Davenport
Left on Winona
Right on St. Clair
Left on Humewood
Veer left into the Cedarvale Ravine
continue straight onto Everden
Right through Ben Nobleman Park to Eglinton
Cross the street and up the sidewalk beside the Allen Expressway
Right onto the Beltline
Right into Mount Pleasant Cemetery
Turn Left and go under Mount Pleasant and follow the outside perimeter of the East side of the cemetery
Turn right out of the cemetery and left onto the Beltline
Take it to the end and turn right onto the sidewalk next to the Allen Expressway and left onto Elm Ridge
Left onto Beograd Gardens and follow the sidewalk to the start of the paved Beltline
Folow it to the end.
Turn around and follow the route back to the Y.

For 16 km, turn between Bathurst and Eglinton on the Beltline Trail and go straight back to the Y (don’t go on the other side of the Allen Expressway).

For 20 km, turn at Yonge St on the Beltline Trail and go straight back to the Y (don’t go on the other side of the Allen Expressway).

For 25km, do the entire East part of the route and go straight back to the Y (don’t go on the other side of the Allen Expressway).

For 28km, do the entire East part of the route and then cross the Allen Expressway to get to the paved section of the trail and turn about 200m past Dufferin.
