Hopefully I got your attention with the title and have spurred you to carefully investigate the route map and description.
As always in the summer, we’ll begin at 8:00 a.m. at the West End Y.
The route takes a different path to the beltline.
Here is the map. It is an out and back.
Description of full 32km
West on College
West on Dundas
North on West End Railpath
East on Cabiboo
North on Osler (jogs a bit west at Davenport-don’t got east on Davenport)
East on St. Clair
North on Caledonia
West on Norman
North on Gilbert (eventually, you’ll go down stairs and through a park and back onto Gilbert)
Cross Eglinton and curve to the west
North on Croham
West on Bowie and you are now at the beginning of the western end of the Beltline
Take Beltline east all the way to Mount Pleasant Cemetary (with the slight detour using Roselawn at the Allen)
Loop the East side of the Cemetary and return back to the Y. Of course, you can turn wherever you want in order to create the distance that you need.
Here is a route that goes to halfway, but returns in different, more adventurous manner using the Moore Park Ravine, the Rosedale Ravine, Winston Churchill Park and the Cedarvale Ravine. Take a peek and if you feel comfortable with the route, give it a go – it’s nearly 30km.
