We wanted to go flat this week and I think that we may have achieved that in an almost straightforward way without having to go to the lake again. It will take us on the railpath; along the ancient first nations route, which is now Davenport; past some of the grandest homes of Rosedale and into the Governor’s Bridge neighbourhood.
It’s an out and back.
Here are the directions to assist:
West on College
Right on West End Raithpath until the end
Right on Cariboo
Left on Osler
Right on Davenport (eventually turns into Church)
Left on Bloor
Left on Castlefrank (will turn into Elm)
Right on Glen
Right on Douglas
Veer right to stay on Douglas
Left on Astley
Right onto Governor’s Bridge
Right on Douglas Crescent
Right on Nesbitt
Right on True Davidson until the end (there once was a really nice lookout here – hopefully, they haven’t built a house in that spot)
Turn around and go back!
