Go East Sunday Long Run

This route gives heads to the end of the beach and beyond. It also gives Scotiabank marathon runners the chance to explore the side of the race they may rarely see.

Meet at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the West End Y.

Here is the route.


South on Dovercourt
East on Dundas
Southeast through Trinity Bellwood Park
East on Queen
South on Niagara (curves east)
South on Bathurst
East on Queen’s Key (North Side is somewhat recently and it may ask you to go on Lakeshore Blvd bike path at times; Southside is fairly clear with the odd detour)
Take Martin Goodman Trail east to the end of the beach (at Cherry, cross to the north side so that you can connect with the Lakeshore E path -if not familiar, study the map).
North on Silverbirch
East on Queen
North on Fallingbrook to Kingston
Turn Around
*instead on running along the Lakeshore and beach, you may wish to run Front St. Eastern and Queen St to do some of the Scotia course
